Issuance of Various Certificates
The procedures for having the certificates differ depending on your student status.Degree-Seeking Students
Request certificates through “Certificate issuance system” on Kumamoto University’s Portal.- Certificate of Student Registration: certifies that you are/were a student at Kumamoto University
- Transcript: certifies your scholastic performance
- Certificate of Future Completion: certifies that you are going to graduate
- Medical Examination Certificate: certifies the result of medical examination
Non-Degree-Seeking Students
Please apply to have certificates issued at the office of the department/graduate school you belong to. “Certificate issuance system” is unavailable.- Certificate of Student Registration: certifies that you are currently attending Kumamoto University
- Transcript: certifies your scholastic performance
- Medical Examination Certificate: Please ask the Health Care Center for issuance.
Furthermore, certificate of scholarship are issued only at the International Student Office no matter what your student status is. Please fill in the appropriate areas of Application Form for Certificate and then hand it in to the International Student Office. Request form are located in the office. Please be advised that it will take a few days to issue requested certificates, so please turn in your form well in advance.
