Immigration and meeting service

Entry Procedures

Immigration inspection

Your passport and visa will be checked, and your status of residence and period of stay will be determined.

Baggage claim

After passing through immigration, pick up your baggage at the baggage claim area. If you cannot find your baggage, ask the staff there for assistance. Follow their instructions. Any late-arriving baggage will be sent to you as soon as possible. The flight charge for your baggage in this case will be covered by the airline.

Customs clearance

A customs officer will inspect your belongings. If you are carrying items such as alcoholic beverages or cigarettes, you may be required to pay a duty. Unaccompanied baggage that you had sent to Japan before your arrival must also be declared.
