【For Students Admitted in April 2026】Application for Admission Fee Exemption/Postponement and Tuition Fee Exemption for the First Semester of AY 2026 (Privately Financed International Students)

(Note)
  • The applicants for Admission Fee Exemption / Postponement do not need to pay the admission fee until the results are announced.
  • "Admission Fee Postponement" is to allow postponement of payment of the admission fee, not an exemption.
  • Students who wish to apply for tuition fee exemption only (e.g., students who will be admitted to a higher-level program within the university) should also download the application guidebook below.

【Eligibility】
 Privately Financed International Students who meet the academic and financial criteria (Please refer to
08_4_Admission Fee Exemption and Postponement / 08_5_Tuition Fee Exemption).

【How to apply】
Privately Financed International Students who want to apply for Admission Fee Exemption / Postponement and Tuition fee Exemption for the first semester of AY 2026 must complete the two-step application process.
(Application Step 1) Enter the required information in the online application system.
(Application Step 2) After completing the online entry, print the forms, fill them out, and send them together with the required documents via Japan Post Letter Pack Light.

(Note)
  • The Internet admission and registration must be completed in order to apply for Admission fee Exemption / Postponement and Tuition Fee Exemption for the first semester of AY 2026.
  • If you were living in Japan as of January 1, 2025, please prepare an income (tax) certificate for FY2025 (covering income earned in 2024). If you have a spouse, please prepare the same certificate for your spouse as well. (Submission is not required for those under the age of 18.)
