The Memorial Museum of the Fifth High School is composed of two historic buildings - the main Fifth High School building and the Chemical Laboratory - both of which are Important Cultural Properties. The Museum exhibits historical documents and artifacts related to education and activities at the Fifth High School. In addition to its exhibits, the Museum also holds lectures, lessons on cultural topics, experiential learning meetings, and concerts. Community activities and the support of lifelong learning are central to the mission of the Memorial Museum of the Fifth High School.
※The Museum is currently closed due to damage sustained in the Kumamoto Earthquakes of 2016
