Kumamoto University held a promotion seminar at Shenzhen University
Kumamoto University Global Academic Excellence Seminar towards strengthening international student recruitment at partner universities was held at Shenzhen University in China on October 31, 2011. The seminar, started this year on the purpose of acquiring effectively international students and inspiring fruitful research exchange activity, was implemented for the first time by combining both a research exchange and a student recruit seminars together. A workshop was organized in the morning’s session to introduce researches carried out in the faculty of law and in the graduate school of science and technology, Kumamoto University. Students interspersed with their supervisors discussed and exchanged information on issues of interests. Many students majored in Japanese language took part in the afternoon’s briefing of Kumamoto University. Shenzhen University is famous in its international activities in both research collaboration and student exchange with its oversea partner universities. It is hoped that Shenzhen University will further extend its tie with Kumamoto University after this seminar.
