Informative Sessions at Universitas Udayana (UNUD) and Universitas Mataram (UNRAM), Indonesia
Kumamoto University (KU) recently hosted dynamic informative sessions at Universitas Udayana (UNUD) on January 30, 2025, and Universitas Mataram (UNRAM) on January 31, 2025, as part of its ongoing "Study in Japan" roadshow. These events marked exciting new milestones in the university's efforts to connect with prospective students in Indonesia and highlight the academic opportunities available at Kumamoto University. The sessions provided a valuable opportunity for students and faculty members to discover the wide range of educational programs and research opportunities available in Japan, with a particular focus on Kumamoto University. The enthusiastic response underscored the increasing interest in international education and potential research collaborations.Throughout the roadshow, approximately 100 participants gained insight into various scholarship opportunities, academic offerings, and student life in Japan. Kumamoto University representatives provided detailed information on admission processes, exchange programs, and the unique advantages of studying in a globally recognized academic environment. The interactive format allowed students to engage directly with university representatives, offering a deeper understanding of the exciting opportunities awaiting them in Japan.
These successful events were held with the support of the Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan (ASEAN Region) and received tremendous support from UNUD and UNRAM. Their warm welcome and invaluable assistance were key in making these sessions a success. Their dedication to fostering international academic exchanges plays a vital role in broadening the educational horizons for Indonesian students.
