To commemorate the 60th anniversary of its founding, Kumamoto University has expanded its public relations activities in the Tokyo area and in the major cities of the Kansai area.
Kumamoto University aims to promote its contribution to society by sharing research and educational achievements within all aspects of industry. Based on this aim, the university constructed the Kanto Liaison Office in 2004 and created the Kumamoto University Kansai Liaison Office on October 16 located within the Creation Core-Higashi Osaka, in the eastern part of the city.
The newest Liaison Office will make extensive use of a network of alumni and act as an intermediary between industry in Kyushu and the Kansai. These activities will help to build future relationships and develop mutually profitable endeavors throughout Japan.
