Kumamoto University Strengthens Collaboration with Its Liaison Office at ITS in Indonesia
On March 2 and 3, Ms. Mia Hernawati, an officer of the Kumamoto University Liaison Office at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Indonesia, visited Kumamoto University.
The Liaison Office, located at ITS in Surabaya, serves as Kumamoto University’s overseas office in Indonesia and supports collaboration with Indonesian universities, student recruitment in Indonesia, and engagement with the Kumamoto University Alumni Association in Indonesia.
During her visit, Ms. Hernawati paid a courtesy call on Executive Vice President Jun Otani and met with faculty and staff members to exchange views on further promoting collaboration and student exchange with Indonesian universities. They also agreed to further expand these activities in the next academic year.
Kumamoto University will continue to utilize the Liaison Office as an important hub for expanding academic and student exchange with Indonesian universities and for actively promoting the acceptance of international students from Indonesia.
