“Get to Know Kumamoto ! Kumamoto Castle Volunteer Guide Training Course”
“Get to Know Kumamoto ! Kumamoto Castle Volunteer Guide Training Course”was held from June to December 2010. Shuichi Torii, Vice director of Center for Globalization presented certificates to the participants who successfully completed the program.
This course, presented by Kumamoto Foreign Student Exchange Promotion Regional Conference was designed for international students studying at universities in Kumamoto Prefecture to deepen their knowledge of Kumamoto Castle, so that they would be able to take tourists of their countries around the Kumamoto castle in their own languages.
The course consisted of both lectures and practical sessions. About 20 international students attended in this course and learned not only about the Kumamoto castle but also about Japanese history.
