Call for Applications: UAAT-KOOU Mandarin Language Classes (Feb 2026 – Apr 2026)

At Kumamoto University, the UAAT-KOOU Mandarin Language Center offers Mandarin language classes focusing on Taiwanese Mandarin as well as Taiwanese culture.

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the courses starting in February 2026.

This program is especially recommended for students who wish to prepare for study abroad or develop an interest in international exchange. At the same time, faculty, staff, and members of the local community are also welcome to participate.

In addition to language learning, the program includes opportunities to experience Taiwanese culture.

If you are wondering, “What is Taiwanese Mandarin?”, you are more than welcome to join.
This program offers a great opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and local residents to experience a new language and culture.

We look forward to your participation.
