ICDC 2025 Post-Program Held at Kumamoto University
On December 4, 2025, Kumamoto University hosted the International Capstone Design Camp & Contest (ICDC) 2025 Post-Program.
ICDC is an international collaborative program jointly organized with Dong-A University (Republic of Korea) and National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (Taiwan), aiming to foster students who can engage in manufacturing and problem-solving through international cooperation in a new global era. The main ICDC 2025 program was held in August 2025 at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. For the Post-Program, a total of 32 students who participated in ICDC 2025 visited Kumamoto, including 12 students from Taiwan and 20 students from the Republic of Korea.
On the day of the event, participants visited the Memorial Museum of the Fifth High School and the Chemistry Laboratory of the Fifth High School, followed by a report session where students shared their learning experiences from ICDC. A welcome party was also held, providing an opportunity for students to reunite for the first time in approximately four months and enjoy meaningful exchange in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The next ICDC program will be held at Dong-A University in the Republic of Korea. Detailed information on participation and application guidelines for the next program is scheduled to be announced around March to April 2026.
