Kumamoto University Participates in the 11th Japan-China Education Exchange Conference

On November 9, 2025, Kumamoto University participated for the first time in the 11th Japan-China Education Exchange Conference. This significant event brought together 43 Chinese universities and 40 Japanese universities, providing a platform for face-to-face discussions aimed at fostering partnerships, enhancing networks, and exchanging information to promote stronger collaboration in higher education. The conference featured various forums, including the Japan-China University Presidents Forum and the Senior High School Forum, making it a prominent event for academic exchange.
 
Kumamoto University set up a booth at the conference, represented by two members of the International Strategy Team, to showcase the university’s latest information, distinctive features, and to engage with visitors by answering questions. The booth attracted approximately 30 visitors from universities, public institutions, senior high schools, and Japanese language schools. Inquiries ranged from information about academic programs and majors to details about admission requirements. They showed a strong interest in Kumamoto University. Kumamoto University highlighted its unique attributes, the distinctive aspects, and how fruitful of studying at Kumamoto University.
 
By participating in such events, Kumamoto University not only provides firsthand information to those interested in its offerings but also continues its efforts in international public relations, helping to raise awareness and strengthen its global presence.
