“Study in Japan” Roadshows Successfully Held at Seven Indonesian Universities
From September 16 to October 1, 2025, the “Study in Japan” roadshows were successfully held at seven universities across Indonesia: Universitas Nusa Cendana, Universitas Cenderawasih, Universitas Sam Ratulangi, UIN Alauddin Makassar, Universitas Hasanuddin, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, and Universitas Pattimura. More than 630 students and faculty members participated in the events in total.
At the roadshows, Ms. Mia Hernawati from the Kumamoto University Liaison Office / Study in Japan ITS Office in Surabaya provided detailed information about Kumamoto University’s academic programs, application procedures, and available scholarships. The sessions also included interactive Q&A and one-on-one consultations, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and receive personalized guidance.
With great enthusiasm from attendees, the events successfully inspired students and faculty members to consider pursuing higher education in Japan. Kumamoto University’s participation offered an excellent platform for building connections with Indonesian universities. Kumamoto University looks forward to welcoming many students from Indonesia in the near future.
