Autumn 2025 Graduation Ceremony

On September 25, 2025, Kumamoto University celebrated its Autumn 2025 Graduation Ceremony at the 100th Anniversary Hall.

This year, a total of 60 students graduated or completed their programs, including 8 undergraduate students, 28 master's degree students, and 24 doctoral degree students. Each of them has now embarked on a new stage in their academic and professional journeys.

Following the award of their degrees, President Hisao Ogawa delivered a congratulatory speech, urging the graduates to take pride in their achievements as members of Kumamoto University. He emphasized the importance of embracing diversity, saying, "In today's global society, the ability to respect and celebrate diversity will be key in shaping a better future. I encourage you to carry these values with you in all your future endeavors." With these words, President Ogawa offered his encouragement for the graduates' continued success and growth.

Additionally, three outstanding graduate students, recognized for their exceptional academic achievements, were awarded certificates of merit and commemorative plaques by President Ogawa.
