Open House at Global Kampung, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia: Inspiring Opportunities for International Engagement

The Open House at Global Kampung, organized by ITS Global Partnership, was successfully held on August 22–23, 2025. The event was attended by around 100 registered students, most of whom were new ITS students eager to explore opportunities for international exposure.

Throughout the two-day program, participants took part in various discussions and presentations covering topics such as internships, volunteering, international exposure, short-term exchange programs, and direct consultations with ITS partner offices. Among the highlights was the presence of the Kumamoto University Liaison Office at ITS (Study in Japan Office), which welcomed over 60 visitors during the event.

The Kumamoto University Liaison Office provided one-on-one consultations, during which many students inquired enthusiastically about scholarships and short-term exchange programs. Notably, several participants expressed keen interest in the MEXT scholarships for Master’s and Doctoral programs.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and curiosity, reflecting that Japan remains a dream destination for many ITS students seeking to pursue higher education.

This event not only served as a platform for students to gain valuable information, but also provided insights and motivation to better prepare for scholarship applications and study programs in Japan. By engaging directly with partner offices and experts, students gained a clearer picture of the opportunities available and the steps required to achieve their academic aspirations.
