Kumamoto University Inspired Parents at ITS Parents’ Day 2025
Kumamoto University participated in the Parents’ Day event hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Indonesia on August 2, 2025. The Kumamoto University’s booth welcomed approximately 200–300 visitors, with parents and guardians showing keen interest in student exchange programs, scholarship opportunities, and pathways to pursue Master’s degrees in Japan. Many attendees also inquired about daily life at Kumamoto University, expressing hopes that their children might one day study at a reputable Japanese university.
The event highlighted the growing interest in international academic experiences in Indonesia. Through initiatives like Parents’ Day, Kumamoto University aims to inspire more students to explore global opportunities, particularly in Japan, and to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.
