Exchange Meeting on Public Relations Activities Between Taiwan National Normal University (NTNU) Student Group and Kumamoto University Students

On July 14, 2025, Kumamoto University (KU) hosted an exchange meeting between the student group "NTNU Smile Ambassador" from Taiwan National Normal University (NTNU) and Kumamoto University students, including student public relations staff and Campus Museum student ambassadors, to discuss public relations activities.

The "NTNU Smile Ambassador" is a student organization at NTNU that supports official university events such as the entrance ceremony and conducts public relations activities through media coverage, photography, and video production. The group also plays a key role in promoting major university events. During their visit to Japan, they aimed to exchange ideas with Kumamoto University students about public relations activities, which inspired the organization of this exchange meeting.

The day began with a campus tour of historical buildings on the Kurokami North Campus, including the "Memorial Museum of the Fifth High School" and the "Chemical Laboratory of the Fifth High School". During the tour, the campus museum student ambassadors provided English explanations of the facilities, helping participants deepen their understanding of the campus.

Following the tour, both universities' students gave presentations introducing their respective public relations activities. Enthusiastic presentations were made by each university about their PR efforts, SNS management, and daily initiatives within the campus community.

In the subsequent discussion session, participants exchanged ideas on the creative aspects and challenges of public relations activities, as well as broader topics related to student life. The dialogue between students from different countries provided valuable insights and a fresh perspective on their respective activities.

Through this exchange meeting, international student connections were strengthened, and it provided an opportunity to raise awareness and enthusiasm for public relations activities. Kumamoto University looks forward to continuing such exchanges to foster mutual understanding and collaboration.
