Participating in the Online Study Abroad Fair Hosted by AIX-MARSEILLE University, France
On October 22, 2021, Kumamoto University participated in the online study abroad fair "International Month AMU" organized by AIX-MARSEILLE University, France, which is one of our partner universities.
AIX-MARSEILLE University is one of France’s top national universities, with its extensive campuses in Marseille and Aix-en-Provence. Aix-en-Provence is a sister city of Kumamoto City, and both cities has been carrying out various exchange programs. Since signing an exchange agreement in 2016, both universities also have continued to conduct exchanges in a wide range of fields.
On the day, Prof. KISHIDA Mitsuyo, Deputy Vice-President for International Affairs, introduced the features of Kumamoto Prefecture and Kumamoto University, our cutting-edge research, and the short-term program for international students through Zoom. We also held a Q&A session with participants via chat, and they actively asked questions about campus life, support for daily life, and so on.
We hope that this opportunity will prompt further exchanges between our two universities.
