Kumamoto University joins Harbin Institute of Technology’s 100th Anniversary Celebration by congratulatory video address
On June 7th, 2020, Harbin Institute of Technology (China) held their 100th Anniversary Celebration online and President HARADA Shinji attended the ceremony by giving a congratulatory video address. Kumamoto University had been invited to attend, but it was held online due to the corona virus.
Harbin Institute of Technology is a national university situated in Harbin city, China and is one of the six major national universities in China.
Since the signing of an international exchange agreement in 2009, Kumamoto University and Harbin Institute of Technology have actively engaged in joint research and the exchange of researchers and students.
Our President delivered a congratulatory address about past exchanges and the desire to strengthen exchanges in the future. It is hoped that further exchanges will continue to be cultivated between our two universities.
