His Excellency, the Honorable Richard Court, Australia Ambassador to Japan pays a courtesy call on Kumamoto University

 On May 8th, 2018, His Excellency, the Honorable Richard Court, Ambassador of Australia to Japan, paid a courtesy call on the President of Kumamoto University, Shinji Harada.

 Consulate-General Mr. Ian Brazier was also in attendance, and in a friendly discussion  opinions were exchanged regarding the policy of increasing international students from Australia to Japan and the strength of research projects in Kumamoto prefecture.

 After that, at College of Cross-Cultural and Multidisciplinary Studies a roundtable discussion was held, where The Vice-President in charge of International Affairs, Prof. Takashima and Special Advisor to the President for International Affairs, Prof. Quitain explained about the collaborative research and researchers and students exchange with Australian University. There was interest expressed in Kumamoto University.
