Kumamoto University Participates in International Staff Mobility 2026 at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia
Kumamoto University participated in the International Staff Mobility (ISM) 2026 program hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia (ITS), on May 8, 2026. The event brought together representatives from partner universities across Asia and attracted around 70 undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in international exchange and study opportunities.
During the program, Kumamoto University introduced its academic programs, student exchange opportunities, and study environment in Japan through an information booth, which welcomed approximately 30 visitors. Ms. Mia Hernawati, an officer of the Kumamoto University Liaison Office in Indonesia, provided explanations about academic life at Kumamoto University, scholarship opportunities, and student experiences in Japan. The session encouraged active discussions with students interested in studying abroad.
The event also provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the long-standing partnership between Kumamoto University and ITS while promoting international exchange and mutual understanding among participating institutions.
