The fourth term began on April 20, 2026. As exchanges between Kumamoto and Taiwan continue to deepen, over 100 participants , including Kumamoto University students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the local community, are enrolled in the courses. Participants come from a wide range of backgrounds, including university and high school students hoping to study in Taiwan, and individuals whose work frequently involves interaction with people from Taiwan.
This program is open not only to students and university staff but also to local residents, contributing to the promotion of exchange with Taiwan and the globalization of the local community. A wide range of courses, from beginner to intermediate levels, are offered to support the practical acquisition of Taiwanese Mandarin.
