Study Opportunities in Japan for Lecturers from Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Surabaya

Kumamoto University has a quite long history of cooperation with UNESA and one of the excellent alumni was taking his master course under the MEXT Scholarship at Kumamoto University.The Roadshow info session was held on Oct 14th, 2024 at 2nd floor Meeting's Room, Faculty of Engineering Building which has been attended by 15 lecturers from multidisciplinary field of research, Prof. Nobuo Funabiki from Okayama University and Ms. Mia Hernawati as the officer of Kumamoto University Liaison Office/Study in Japan ITS Office. The presentation and QnA session including in person consultation about all the possible scholarship oppotunities and the mechanisms has been successfully delivered.
One of the key goals of studying abroad is to bring back knowledge and expertise that can enhance the home institution. Lecturers from UNESA’s Engineering Faculty who study in Japan can apply their new skills and research methodologies to improve teaching and research at UNESA.
