2011 Kumamoto University Intensive Japanese Course Completion Ceremony and Short-term Exchange Program Closing Ceremony
On Friday, February 17th, 2012, the Kumamoto University Intensive Japanese Course Completion Ceremony and Short-term Exchange Program Closing Ceremony was held at the Kusunoki Kaikan Reception Room.
At the ceremony, President Taniguchi gave a congratulatory address to the students who participated in the programs. After the ceremony, 7 students who completed the Intensive Japanese Course and 18 Students who completed the Short-term Exchange Program each delivered one minute speeches of gratitude in Japanese about their detailed experiences living and studying in Japan.
After the completion of the ceremony, 10 executive members including President Taniguchi, Deans, and Academic Advisors chatted with exchange students at a Farewell Tea Party held at the International Exchange Office Development Center.
The 7 students who completed the Intensive Japanese Course will now continue on to graduate studies in such fields as Education, Medical Education, and Natural Science, while the 18 students who completed Short-term Exchange Program of either 6 months or 1 year will now return to their home countries.
