Consul General of France in Kyoto visits Kumamoto University
On February 7th, 2023, Mr. Jules Irrmann, Consul General of France in Kyoto, paid a courtesy call to Dr. Hironori Ito, Vice President for Global Education and Legal Affairs. Also present were faculty members from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science. This was Consul General Irrmann's second visit to Kumamoto University (KU) in two years. His first visit was in September of 2020.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of furthering student & researcher exchange between KU and French universities, and future initiatives to support Japanese students who want to study in France.
We trust that this courtesy call will promote further exchanges between KU and French universities.
