Courtesy Call by Rector of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia)
Dr. Mochamad Ashari, Rector of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), paid a courtesy call on President Hisao Ogawa on December 27th, 2022. Also present were Dr. Jun Otani, Trustee and Vice President for Research and Global Strategy, and Dr. Mitsuyo Kishida, Deputy Director of the Organization for Globalization.Kumamoto University (KU) and ITS signed a university-level exchange agreement in 2008 and have since conducted frequent exchanges of students and researchers. Furthermore, KU established an overseas office on the ITS campus in 2010, which serves as a hub for exchanges between the two universities.
During the meeting, both universities reported on recent developments and exchanged views on initiatives to strengthen cooperation between the two universities in the future.
We hope that this courtesy visit will promote further exchanges of students and researchers between KU and ITS.
