FY 2022 Global Advisory Board Meeting

 On June 2nd, 2022, the "FY 2022 Kumamoto University Global Advisory Board" was held to exchange opinions with experts from Japan and abroad on the global strategy of the university.
 
 Unlike the previous two meetings held in-person at the university, this year's meeting was held via the web due to the coronavirus infection control measures. The participants from Japan (Hiroshima and Tokyo); overseas (U.S. and Turkey); and Kumamoto University President Hisao Ogawa, Director Jun Otani, and Vice President Mitsuyo Kishida from the Organization for Global Engagement and Initiatives exchanged opinions about the university’s future on a global stage.
 
 Although time was limited, the committee members from outside the university provided valuable opinions and advice about Kumamoto University's future global strategy based on the its Super Global University Initiative.
 
 The opinions and advice regarding our future policies to further support globalization, the development of students who can play an active role in the world, and the opening of the university to the world are summarized below.
