Kumamoto University participated in “Study in Japan Online Fair for Sub-Saharan Africa 2021”
From September 8th to 10th 2021, Kumamoto University participated in “Study in Japan Online Fair for Sub-Saharan Africa 2021” to introduce Kumamoto University’s features and benefits to Sub-Saharan African students who are interested in studying in Japan.
This event was hosted by Hokkaido University through the MEXT program “Study in Japan Global Network Project (Sub-Saharan Africa).”
Hokkaido University distributed video contents to Sub-Saharan African students in advance, and on September 9th, Kumamoto University held an online group consultation for students majoring in the Natural Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, etc.
During this event, our materials were uploaded to the event website.
Kumamoto University has also established two offices in Africa - the Sudan Office, which opened in 2016, and the Tanzania Office, which opened in 2020.
We hope that this event and our overseas offices in Africa will lead to further exchanges between African universities and Kumamoto University.
