Joining JASSO’s “Study in Japan Virtual Fair 2021”

On Sunday, August 29, Kumamoto University participated in “Study in Japan Virtual Fair 2021,” organized by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), and introduced Kumamoto University by Zoom.

Prof. KISHIDA Mitsuyo, Deputy Vice-President for International Affairs, introduced the features of Kumamoto Prefecture and Kumamoto University, our cutting-edge research, and information about our entrance examination, using videos and PowerPoint. We also held a Q&A session with participants via chat, and they enthusiastically asked questions about undergraduate courses, the entrance examination system, and so on.

More than 100 students from around the world who are interested in studying in Japan joined our session, and we were able to showcase the university’s appeal.

Kumamoto University will continue to proactively provide information using online tools.
