Kumamoto University participated in the Japan Alumni Meeting for the Study in Japan Global Network Project in Myanmar

On February 16, 2020, Prof. SAWA Tomohiro, Advisor to the President (International Affairs) participated in the Japan Alumni Meeting for the Study in Japan Global Network Project in Myanmar, held in Yangon, Myanmar.

This meeting was organized in cooperation with the Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA) and Six National Universities in Japan (SixERS) with the aim of increasing the number of foreign students and expanding and strengthening the network in Myanmar as part of the Study in Japan Global Network Project (ASEAN), which is commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and organized by Okayama University.

The next day, on the 17th, the conference of SixERS and the meeting for the Study in Japan Global Network Project (ASEAN) was held at the OJEIC Office, where opinions were exchanged on future initiatives for the program.
