Research and Education Institute for Semiconductors and Informatics

The Research and Education Institute for Semiconductors and Informatics was established in April 2023 with the aim of nurturing researchers and engineers who will lead Japanese industry and education. Our institute consists of the Semiconductor Division and the Integrated Information Division.
We are committed to advancing electronic and information technologies through the research and development of cutting-edge semiconductors, spanning fields from fundamental principles to practical system applications, and of artificial intelligence (AI) and data science.
