After Graduation: Recent Trends

The career guidance committee of the Faculty, which is composed of faculty members, provides the latest recruitment information in cooperation with the Career Services Division of the Student Affairs Office. Vigorous support is offered especially for third-year students who are about to start their job search, and includes career guidance and seminars in preparation for civil services examinations. As part of the official curriculum, internship programs are offered to help cultivate career direction and to promote occupational skills with the cooperation of government and other public offices, leading companies and the Kumamoto Bar Association. The graduates of the Faculty of Law take active roles in society, including roles in central and local government offices, the media, publishing, finance, insurance, services, distribution, information technology, manufacturing, construction and other industries. Many also proceed to graduate schools.
