Kumamoto University has formed cooperative relationships with foreign academic institutions by concluding academic exchange agreements. The Faculty of Law has concluded department-level exchange agreements with the Hannam University, the College of Law (Daejeon, Korea) to offer students more opportunities to study together with international students and to promote international exchanges between universities. The Faculty dispatches several students to these partner universities each year.
