Faculty of Law Educational Objectives

The educational objectives of the Faculty include developing students' basic abilities, giving them a solid grounding in legal knowledge, and teaching them to think, express themselves, and debate in legal and political terms, as well as to find solutions to controversies and disputes in society. Specifically, the faculty aims to:

  • (1) Develop each student's ability to think, express opinions, and debate in legal and political terms through small seminar-style classes and interactive lessons.
  • (2) Develop the basic abilities of each student to deal with actual problems in society from both legal and political perspectives.
  • (3) Give students a basic knowledge of legal and political concepts, and develop student awareness of the social roles and limitations of these concepts.
  • (4) Develop the critical insights of students with regard to legal and political thought, and equip them with a broad perspective and comprehensive discretionary abilities.
