Some of the main activities organized by the University that are within the notice of the Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters are as follow.
- University doctors will be sent as coordinator for citizen’s health management of Makishi-machi area, estimated from Monday May 30 until a date to be notified.
- Publicity Campaign of Kumamoto University’s Revitalization
- Kumamoto Revitalization Support Project

※Since the occurrence of the foreshock on 14 April, we have been regularly reporting the status of damage experienced by the University. As the total situation of the damages stabilizes, and with the launch of recovery activities through project like the Kumamoto Revitalization Support Project, we will end our regular reporting of the damage status with this report as the last one. Further updates regarding the status of damage will be informed separately by the Kumamoto University Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters.
