Student Accessibility Support Room


*Available support varies depending on the type and severity of disabilities.
* Support is available for disabilities other than those described below.

■Examples of support for students with visual impairments:
- Lending of a large monitor to enlarge teaching materials and a magnifying glass, etc.

■Examples of support for students with orthopedic impairments:
- Extension of examination time / examination in another room - Permission for vehicle entry - Arrangement of personal belongings - Support for transfer between classes - Installation of railings, etc.

■Examples of support for students with hearing impairments:
- Support for note taking and computer taking - Support for transcription of audiovisual materials, etc.

■Examples of support for students with mental disabilities (including developmental disabilities):
- Securing of resting rooms - Academic guidance (how to register for courses, how to study, etc.) - Guidance on social skills (interpersonal relationships, self-control, etc.) - Cooperation with schools from which the relevant students graduated - Cooperation with the guardians - Psychotherapy by a clinical psychologist - Support by a campus social worker (coordination of communication with faculty members, introduction of the relevant students to external institutions, attendance for them), etc.

Support is provided according to the situation of disabilities in cooperation with professional instructors
(clinical psychologists, speech therapists) of undergraduate courses.
