Kumamoto University Welcomed International Students at the 2024 Autumn Opening Ceremony
On September 25, 2024, Kumamoto University held its Opening Ceremony for the Intensive Japanese Course, Japanese Studies Program, and Short-Term Exchange Program at the Center for International Education’s lounge on the Kurokami North Campus. The vibrant event marked the official start of the fall semester for international students.
This semester, Kumamoto University proudly welcomed 2 students to the Intensive Japanese Course, 6 students to the Japanese Studies Program, and 50 students who joined the Short-Term Exchange Program. These students, representing diverse backgrounds and cultures, will be immersing themselves in the academic and cultural experiences.
With its dedication to fostering global learning and cultural exchange, Kumamoto University continues to be a gateway for international students seeking to deepen their understanding of Japanese language and culture.
