Professor Lim Dae-Young from Pai Chai University (South Korea) visits Kumamoto University
On April 5th 2023, Dr. Lim Dae-Young, a professor from Pai Chai University, paid a courtesy call to Dr. Mitsuyo Kishida, Vice President for Global Education at Kumamoto University (KU). Pai Chai University (PCU) is a private comprehensive university located in Daejeon Metropolitan City, South Korea. KU and PCU signed a university-level exchange agreement in 1999 and have conducted numerous student/research exchanges since then. This meeting was to support the continuing friendship between the two universities. Dr. Kazuyuki Hokamoto, professor at the Institute of Industrial Nanomaterials, and Mr. Kenji Kakuta, General Manager at International Affairs Department, were also in attendance.
During the meeting, both universities caught up on recent activities, reviewed and updated the exchange achievements, and discussed how to promote further student/research exchanges. In the discussion, KU introduced a new student exchange program and both universities agreed to share information about their respective exchange programs to improve future exchanges.
It is hoped that this courtesy call will strengthen the cooperative relationship and promote further student/research exchange between KU and PCU.
