Participating in “The 10th ASEAN+3 Heads of International Relations Meeting”
On February 24th, Kumamoto University participated in the “The 10th ASEAN+3 Heads of International Relations Meeting” hosted by AUN (ASEAN University Network).
More than 100 vice presidents for international affairs and faculties from ASEAN+3 network* attended this meeting. From Kumamoto University, Trustee and Vice-President for International Affairs OTANI Jun, Deputy Vice-president for International Affairs KISHIDA Mitsuyo attended the meeting.
At the opening session, AUN Executive Director Dr. Choltis Dhirathit delivered a congratulatory address. The AUN secretariats delivered lectures on the theme of “Activity planning and design”, “New communication strategies in a disrupted world” and “General improvement to activities in the AUN”.
It is hoped that further exchanges between ASEAN+3 network universities will emerge from this event.
*ASEAN+3 network consists of 30 universities from 10 AUN countries, 10 universities from Japan, 5 universities from China and 6 universities from South Korea
