【For Current Students】Application for Tuition Fee Exemption for the Second Semester of AY 2026 (Privately Financed International Students)

Privately Financed International Students who want to apply for tuition fee exemption of the second semester of AY 2026 must do two-step application.
(Application Step 1) Input into the online application system
(Application Step 2) After completing the online entry, print the forms, fill them out, and send them together with the required documents via Japan Post Letter Pack Light.

【Attention】Please note that the application periods are different for students enrolled in October 2026.
 
【Eligibility】
 Privately Financed International Students who meets the Academic and Economic criteria. (Please refer to the application guidebook below, which you can download.)
 
【How to apply】
The application procedure is described in the “Application Guidebook for Tuition Fee Exemption for Academic Year 2026.” Please read it carefully and apply accordingly.

If you were living in Japan as of January 1, 2026, please prepare an income (tax) certificate for FY2026 (covering income earned in 2025). If you have family members, please prepare the same certificate for each of them as well.
