The Center undertakes the following activities:

• - Research on liberal arts education and the programs Faculties provide
• - Undergraduate and postgraduate education
• - Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL)
• - Faculty Development (FD)
• - Development of and support for effective teaching
• - Development of and support for educational assessment and evaluation.
• - Development of efficient systems for liberal arts education
• - Development of student support systems for life and learning
• - Research and development on the issues that arise in/out of the University

The Center also conducts research in cooperation with universities and institutions in Japan and abroad to facilitate the advancement of current university education.
