At Kumamoto University School of Law, we focus on a core curriculum of fundamental subjects in public, civil, and criminal law, and conduct interactive and multidirectional courses with small class sizes.
We also have a rich selection of practical courses such as externship and legal clinic programs that link legal theory with practice.

Through our curriculum, you will have the opportunities to learn advanced legal theories and acquire a legal mindset with creativity, for example, by debating legal cases with others. Our curriculum provides you with the opportunities to develop a critical, problem-solving mind so that you can identify facts and issues in question, which we believe is essential for a career in law.
