Master's Course - Public Policy Studies

The Public Policy Studies major is composed of two educational courses: Public Policy Specialist Course that develops specialists in public policy and Policy Research Course that deals with studies on policy. The former trains policy professionals on public policy analysis and theory, provides knowledge and skill to draft policies, and inculcates planning and management abilities as well as practicality. The latter focuses on developing international-level policy researchers equipped with a broad perspective and skills in regards to fundamental policy research.

Admission Policy

In order to create a good society, this major seeks those with a theoretical and practical interest in policy studies, a drive to learn, and the desire to become professionals in politics or public administration.

Courses

Public Policy Specialist Course

Kyushu's first policy graduate program. Develops policy professionals with practical skills as well as theoretical and analytical abilities.

Policy Research Course

Cultivates international policy researchers through project studies.
